About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Couple to join our luxury lodge in Madikwe, where we offer a unique opportunity to combine hospitality and wildlife management expertise. As a Field Guide and Front of House (FOH) team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences while also contributing to the overall success of our lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge, ensuring seamless guest experiences
- Provide guided game drives and other activities, utilizing FGASA Level 1/2 qualifications and all guiding certifications up to date
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the lodge’s public areas and rooms
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement creative solutions to problems, demonstrating strong out-of-the-box thinking
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals and objectives
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in a 5* property
- Own transport and drivers license
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong time management skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Outgoing personality, able to entertain guests
Qualifications
- FGASA Level 1/2 qualifications (preferred)
- All guiding certifications up to date (Full Trails advantageous)
