About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fertilizer Sales Representative to join our team in Malelane, Mpumalange. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, understanding their specific crop and soil needs, and recommending suitable fertilizer products and application strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing a deep understanding of various fertilizer products, their compositions, benefits, and application methods
• Identifying potential customers, building relationships, and understanding their specific crop and soil needs
• Using your fertilizer expertise to recommend suitable products and application strategies that align with the customer’s agricultural goals
• Conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of different fertilizer products to potential customers
• Coordinating fertilizer orders, ensuring accurate quantities and delivery schedules are met
• Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Developing cost estimates and proposals for fertilizer programs tailored to customers’ crop needs and budgets
• Generating reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights for management’s analysis

Requirements

• Grade 12 with Agricultural qualification will be an advantage
• 2 years of experience in agricultural sales
