Job Description

About the Role

The successful candidate will serve as the “Face of the Company” at our Cradock location, providing exceptional customer service to walk-in customers, clients, and suppliers while operating the switchboard with a professional telephone manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front desk representative, offering professional, friendly, and efficient customer service at all times
  • Operate the switchboard, answering and directing calls with a professional telephone manner
  • Assist walk-in customers, clients, and suppliers courteously and efficiently
  • Handle registrations and capture customer information accurately
  • Manage cash sales accurately and responsibly
  • Perform daily cash-ups, reconciling cash and reporting discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, typing, and document management
  • Process stock orders and liaise with suppliers where required
  • Assist with wage administration and basic payroll support
  • Maintain organized records, both electronic and manual
  • Support management with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
