About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to lead and mentor functional teams in delivering implementations for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business requirements, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor functional teams
  • Coordinate internal/external teams and resources to deliver implementations
  • Understand and document business requirements (AS-IS and TO-BE)
  • Prepare Business Blueprint documents for SAP Configuration EWM, WM, LE, and MM Planning
  • Execute tests, including integration testing with other modules (PP, PM, SD, MM, LE)
  • Analyze interfaces, IDOCs, and RFCs processing
  • Assist with migration and cut-over for MM and EWM objects
  • Prepare user manuals and conduct training for business process owners
  • Participate in go-live preparation and post-go live support
  • Interact with clients through meetings, calls, and emails
  • Handle tickets and tasks, ensuring timely closure within defined SLAs
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide system support, and execute required changes through configuration
  • Analyze and resolve production support calls
  • Raise Change Requests (CRs) and write Functional Specifications for them
  • Prepare test data for testing of CRs
  • Test CRs and prepare test results
  • Carry out regression testing
  • Interact with consultants from other modules
  • Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and system integration security tests
  • Update and maintain SAP Module functional documentation
  • Proactively propose solutions to improve support of new business processes

Requirements

  • IT degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Extensive SAP practical system experience (typically 46 years)
  • 8 years industry working experience in Logistics (WM and EWM)
  • Proven track record of working in SAP projects and supporting implementations from requirements through to Go live and support
  • Strong experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools (Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence)
