Midrand: Financial Accountant

A well-established medium to large construction and engineering group is seeking a highly committed Financial Accountant to join its finance team and grow into a senior financial leadership role. Reporting directly to the Financial Director , this role fulfils the core responsibilities of a Financial Accountant within a complex, project-driven business environment. Key Responsibilities: Full financial accounting function for a medium to large business Strong application of debit and credit accounting principles Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Supporting the Financial Director with operational and strategic finance Progressive development into a senior finance role as part of succession planning Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Degree in Finance Completion of SAICA or SAIPA articles with a small to mid-tier accounting firm At least 3-4 years experience in a similar position Exposure to BuildSmart or similar construction accounting systems is advantageous Apply now!
