About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand is seeking a Junior Events Coordinator to join our Head Office team. As a Biogen events coordinator, you will support the end-to-end events process through coordination, administration, and on-site execution of Biogen brand-sponsored sporting, health, and fitness events.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordinating logistics, setup, and communication for Biogen-sponsored events, activations, and expos.
- Support the coordination of deliveries, equipment, stock, and promotional materials for events.
- Liaise with promoters, suppliers, venues, and internal stakeholders to ensure event readiness.
- Assist with physical setup, coordination, and breakdown at events.
- Support the execution of events to ensure they are activated professionally and aligned to brand standards.
- Assist with attendance tracking, stock usage, and cost recording per event.
- Support post-event evaluation, including data capture and reporting.
- Assist with administration and communication related to all events.
- Support Marketing and Events leadership with event feedback and reporting.
- Manage and maintain activation equipment, including reporting on condition and usage.
Requirements
- Matric or an equivalent Senior Certificate.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Events Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 23 years experience in events coordination, promotions, brand activations, or marketing support.
- Experience within a retail, health, wellness, or FMCG environment.
