About the Role
Jordan Human Resources is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our Quality Control (QC) laboratory, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our QC laboratory and conducting testing and release of samples according to test methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the QC laboratory
- Testing and release of samples according to test methods
- Ensuring sample traceability – Interprets data – Reporting of results-
- Batch Release
- Complete and review batch release specifications in accordance with approved requirements.
- Generate and issue the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for finished products.
- Ensure that documents are properly archived and where required shared with customers or other stakeholders.
- Where required, send finished product samples to customers.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Knowledge of GMP standards and GLP requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Ability to work independently and willingness to work overtime when required.
