Core Criteria:
- Strong kitchen management experience in a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or high-end hospitality environment
- Proven experience managing food quality, presentation, consistency, and kitchen systems
- Experience with procurement, stock control, supplier management, and food cost control
- Sound knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens, and guest preferences
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a kitchen team
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Hands-on management style with a willingness to work service periods alongside the team
- Passionate about food, people, and maintaining the highest standards in a luxury environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all daily kitchen and F&B operations to the highest standard
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and guest dining experiences across all meal periods
- Manage procurement, stock control, and supplier relationships while maintaining food cost controls
- Actively engage with guests during service to ensure complete satisfaction and a personalised dining experience
- Lead, train, mentor, and develop kitchen and F&B staff to reach their full potential
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards throughout all kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor and manage dietary requirements, allergens, and individual guest preferences
- Work hands-on alongside the team during all service periods
- Contribute to menu development and the continuous improvement of the food and beverage offering
- Maintain open and effective communication across all lodge departments
