Job Description
The ideal candidate is a logical thinker with a keen eye for detail, strong quality control skills, and the ability to identify discrepancies before products are dispatched.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections on imported products upon arrival.
- Check products for defects, damages, incorrect labeling, and packaging inconsistencies.
- Verify product specifications against purchase orders and supplier documentation.
- Perform thorough checks on all retail orders before dispatch.
- Ensure correct quantities, product codes, and packaging standards are met.
- Investigate and report quality issues or non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate quality control records and inspection reports.
- Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Assist with stock audits and inventory quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Warehouse Inspection, or similar role would be advantageous.
- Experience working with imported consumer products, retail products, or distribution environments will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Logical and analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and related systems).
- Immediately available preferred
