About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks within the facility
  • Enforce compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
  • Drive a proactive safety culture through continuous monitoring and engagement on the production floor
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and HR teams to ensure alignment on EHS objectives
  • Develop and manage EHS budgets in collaboration with finance
  • Provide practical, on-the-ground problem solving in a high-pressure manufacturing environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an EHS role within manufacturing (food production preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, self-driven approach
