TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Grain Grader within the Grain division at Mkondo Silo, Mpumalanga. Job Summary This role involves performing grain intake, grading, storage, and dispatch activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, food safety requirements, and company procedures. The Grain Grader will be responsible for assessing grain quality, maintaining accurate records, supporting operational processes, and ensuring effective quality control throughout the grain-handling process. Responsibilities and Duties Perform grain grading in accordance with statutory regulations and industry standards Conduct grain intake and dispatch inspections and sampling procedures Accurately classify and record grain quality and grading results Operate and monitor weighbridge processes and related documentation Maintain grain quality standards throughout storage and handling processes Monitor hygiene, infestation control, and housekeeping standards within the silo environment Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and food safety requirements Complete administrative duties, including grading reports, data capturing, and record keeping Assist with stock control and reconciliation processes where required Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations Communicate effectively with customers, farmers, transporters, and colleagues Qualifications and Skills Matric / Grade 12 Qualified Grain Grader Certificate Valid Fumigation Certificate (advantageous) Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of grain grading legislation, standards, and quality requirements Experience within a grain handling, silo, or agricultural environment Strong administrative and record-keeping skills Ability to communicate effectively with customers and farmers High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in a grain-handling environment (dust, heights, confined spaces) Valid Driver’s License (Code 8) Willingness to work overtime and night shifts as required Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions Take the next step in your career with TWK Agri, a trusted leader in agriculture and beyond. *The company can expire job adverts at any time at their own discretion.
