About the Role
The Security Underground Coordinator role at Bidvest Protea Coin involves managing and investigating crime incidents underground, as well as handling various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that court procedures and consequence management procedures are fulfilled, and liaising with HR Department, Client/SAPS/Court officials, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and investigation of crime incidents underground
- Managing the underground team
- Handling of informers and intelligence
- Management of roster of his team
- Ensure that court procedures and consequence management procedures are fulfilled
- Liaise with HR Department concerning disciplinary enquiries to ensure fulfilment thereof
- Liaise with Client/SAPS/Court officials
- Handling of Au Exhibit safe
- Management of case dockets according to “Brought Forward” system
- Guiding of co-worker in the investigation of crime
Requirements
- Matric
- Diploma in management
- Driver’s license
- Computer literacy (MS Excel) and Word.
- Academic qualification in Investigations of Crime
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience in Investigating of Incidents (Criminal as well as Departmental)
- SAPS, Defence Force, and/or NIA experience will be an advantage.
