About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage the company’s daily cash flow and liquidity.
Prepare accurate cash flow forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
Identify potential shortfalls or surpluses and recommend appropriate actions.
Develop and implement annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
Consolidate budgets from all business units to provide a group-wide financial overview.
Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify variances with corrective action plans.
Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Oversee and manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labour laws.
Reconcile payroll and resolve discrepancies.
Manage employee benefit payments and statutory deductions.
Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns and payments.
Handle tax compliance, including corporate tax and other statutory returns.
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
Establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Manage banking facilities, credit lines, and financial instruments.
Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts.
Develop and implement strong internal financial controls.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Conduct periodic financial audits to assess and improve financial processes.
