Location: Hilton/Pietermaritzburg
An established and growing out-of-home (OOH) media owner is expanding its commercial structure and is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Sales Operations & Commercial Coordinator to join its team in Hilton.
Operating premium static and digital billboard inventory across KwaZulu-Natal, with national partnerships extending its footprint across South Africa, the business is scaling rapidly and embedding a more analytical, performance-driven sales environment.
This opportunity sits at the intersection of sales, data, and operations offering structured growth within the fast-paced and creative media industry.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional (03 years experience) looking to gain exposure to:
- Structured sales systems and pipeline management
- Campaign coordination and execution
- Commercial data integrity and reporting
- Sales performance tracking and visibility
- Digital media operations

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Support
- Assist with proposal preparation and campaign setup
- Maintain accurate booking and flighting information
- Support CRM hygiene and pipeline tracking
- Prepare structured weekly sales reports
- Capture and document client briefs accurately
Commercial Data & Systems Integrity
- Clean, reconcile, and maintain inventory and campaign data
- Validate system data across booking and reporting platforms
- Support Business Intelligence dashboard inputs
- Maintain site and campaign information across booking systems
Campaign & Flighting Coordination
- Track artwork deadlines and installation schedules
- Liaise with operations to confirm production timelines
- Maintain structured campaign checklists
- Support digital slot allocation tracking
- Assist in ensuring campaigns go live accurately and on time
Technology & Process Improvement
The successful candidate will:
- Use Excel confidently (formulas, lookups, validation tools)
- Explore AI tools to improve operational efficiency
- Support workflow optimisation initiatives
- Contribute to Business Intelligence development
- Identify opportunities to improve coordination between Sales and Operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 03 years experience (graduates welcome)
- Qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or related field advantageous
- Strong Excel and organisational ability
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Comfortable working within structured systems
