Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Counter Sales / Office & Sales Administrator (Half Day) in Plettenberg Bay. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day office operations, processing sales and order management, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Management: Perform and execute day-to-day office operations opening and closing procedures reception duties Receiving incoming calls Administration Filing Purchasing office supplies Payroll input for staff wages, and petty cash
- Sales and Order Processing: Manage sales processes Taking and processing orders execution Drawing up quotations, tax invoices, credit notes
- Accounts Management: Assist with financial transactions Reconcile accounts using Pastel to generate financial statements Debtors and Creditors Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Invoicing and Payments: Create invoices using Pastel Collect payments Age analysis and reporting
- Logistics: Coordinate daily product deliveries Customer service: Customer Liaison Address customer enquiries and complaints
- Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly reports on Sales Transport Manufacturing Sorting Driver performance Budget and Expenditure: Record office expenses in line with the budget Stock Management: Maintain stock levels and assist with stock control and regular stock checks
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Fully computer literate in MS Office and Pastel
- Strong numerical competency
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be detail orientated, accurate and disciplined
- Clear credit and criminal record
- Knowledge or experience in the building industry is advantageous
