About the Role
As a Project Graduate Intern in our Projects department, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced project managers and contribute to the success of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to support assigned project managers, individually manage and coordinate the process of operations from order receipt to full project sign-off and payment by the customer.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical/Project Risk:
- Liaise with project sales department in establishing cost and time effective concepts for customer beneficial use
- Establish full understanding of the scope of work on project inception
- Obtain all the customer’s requirements for the order received
- Assess the feasibility of requirement for the order received
- Continually liaise with customer ensuring project requirements e.g., technical specifications, drawings, etc. are made available timeously, as well as supplying updated project status reports.
• Project Milestones:
- Establish a project plan, accommodating the financial and timing constraints supporting order requirements
- Determine resource requirements for the established project plan
- Liaise with customers to consolidate and finalise the project timing and delivery arrangements
- Manage any date changes on the project schedule, effected by the Project Manager
- Chair weekly scope of work meetings, to consolidate project status with project management team.
• Quality:
- Support JQS (Jendamark Quality System)
- General Management, supporting the company Code of Conduct and all company policies
- Supporting the wellbeing and best interests of the company.
Requirements
- Formal Tertiary education: Project Management Degree
- Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
- Industrial Engineering w/t Automotive background.
- Languages: English (speak, read, write), Afrikaans (speak, read, write)
- Drivers Licence: Code 8- (required)
