About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Millwright or Maintenance Technician to join our team in South Africa, with a strong focus on mechanical and electrical maintenance of production and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production and processing equipment
  • Diagnose, fault-find, and repair breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Conduct preventative and planned maintenance activities
  • Work on motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, bearings, and drive systems
  • Perform basic electrical fault-finding on panels, motors, and control systems
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams

Requirements

Millwright Red Seal OR Electrician Red Seal (mandatory)

Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience in FMCG, processing, manufacturing, or heavy industry advantageous

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands
