About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to join our dynamic agricultural research team in Potchefstroom, North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with crop trials and managing accurate research data across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor crop trials for Sunflower, Soyabean, Sorghum & Maize
- Assist with planting, monitoring, and harvesting trials
- Collect and manage accurate research data
- Support farmer days and demonstration plantings
- Assist marketing managers during planting and harvesting seasons
Requirements
- 2 – 5 years relevant experience in agriculture or a related field
- Agricultural Degree or related qualification
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- Valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English (read, write & speak)
