About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to join our dynamic team in Potchefstroom, North West. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for planning and executing statistical trials for various crops, collecting and managing research data, and contributing to innovative crop development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and outline statistical trials for Sunflower, Soyabean, Sorghum, and Maize
- Monitor, and harvest trials according to company protocols
- Assist with research and marketing data collection
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all collected data
- Support Marketing Managers during planting and harvesting seasons
- Participate in farmer days and demonstration plantings
- Monitor crop trials and maintain research standards
Requirements
- Agricultural Degree or related qualification
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (read, write, speak)
- Valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
Salary & Benefits
R25 000 – R30 000 CTC
