About the Role Our Rustenburg motor dealership client is seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join their team. This role focuses on financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the effective management of financial resources. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial initiatives while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities – Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. – Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with business objectives to enhance profitability and cash flow. – Prepare detailed financial forecasts and budgets, providing actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making. – Analyze financial performance metrics and identify trends to support operational efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and operational planning. – Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic reports for stakeholders, highlighting significant findings and recommendations. – Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring all financial practices adhere to statutory requirements. – Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Requirements – A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CA(SA)) is advantageous. – Demonstrable experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting within the automotive or related industry. – Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards applicable in South Africa. – Proficient in Microsoft Excel; – Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of providing strategic insights from financial data. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. – Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications – Experience in the automotive sector will be an advantage. – Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance. – Previous experience in leading finance teams and managing departmental budgets. – Experience with the DMS, Kerridge, will be an advantage
