About the Role

We are seeking an experienced C# .NET Maui Software Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust mobile and web applications using C#, MAUI/Xamarin, and related .NET technologies. Your expertise in software development, particularly in mobile applications, will enable us to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain mobile and web applications using C#, MAUI/Xamarin, and related .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with teams to design software solutions that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Ensure high code quality through best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Work with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end frameworks (Blazor, ASP.NET) as needed.
  • Manage and query relational databases using SQL.
  • Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools to support team workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 35 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications.
  • Proven expertise in C#, .NET, and MAUI/Xamarin.
  • Solid understanding of front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with back-end development frameworks such as Blazor and ASP.NET.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
