Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client, the number one cold meat manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst. The successful candidate will form an integral part of the commercial and finance team.

Responsibilities:

Master Data Management & Analysis:

Structure and analyze Customer and Product Master Data to extract meaningful insights.
Maintain and update reference tables within the production system.

Reporting & Dashboards:

Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Update and maintain current dashboards with relevant data.
Create ad hoc dashboards based on stakeholder requests.
Present periodic reports to Management, incorporating value-added analysis.

Data Acquisition & Maintenance:

Source data for new reporting requirements, including collaboration with external service providers.
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of current data sources.

Team Support & Special Projects:

Assist the team with data mining and analysis projects.
Prepare budget files.
Conduct ad hoc analysis as required.

Marketing Support:

Provide data and analytical support to Marketing initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Data Analyst Certification OR Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) / Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree (or currently studying towards one).
Power BI Specialist OR highly experienced in Power BI.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analyst (or similar), commercial, finance, or reporting role.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP, SYSPRO).
Experience with customer web portals (e.g., Shoprite, PNP).

Analytical & Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to analyze user requirements and develop reports according to specifications.
Excellent teamwork skills with the capacity to work independently.

Preferred Experience:

Experience within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is advantageous.
