About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce & Shopify Administrator to join our clients team in Pretoria East. You’ll be the driving force behind the smooth running of our online store, ensuring products are listed accurately, orders are processed seamlessly, and customers enjoy a flawless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise the Shopify store (products, pricing, images, descriptions, and inventory).
- Process online orders, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations efficiently.
- Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with developers/support.
- Manage Shopify apps, integrations, and basic theme customisations.
- Coordinate promotions, discount codes, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure SEO-friendly product descriptions and effective on-site merchandising.
- Handle customer queries via email, chat, or social platforms.
- Generate and analyse reports on sales, traffic, and customer behaviour.
- Ensure compliance with payment gateways, courier partners, and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and product launches.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in e-commerce, online retail, or Shopify administration.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and online merchandising.
- Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mind-set.
- Shopify admin proficiency (products, orders, apps, themes).
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (advantageous).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta, or similar tools (advantageous).
