About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Pretoria East. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing electrical projects from design to commissioning, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules aligned to client and internal timelines
  • Generate and review electrical drawings, ensuring strict documentation and revision control
  • Compile project databooks for quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Coordinate and manage on-site teams, including technicians and apprentices
  • Prepare procurement packages, obtain supplier quotations, and manage material delivery timelines
  • Monitor project budgets and manage scope changes and engineering change requests (ECRs)
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Provide structured project progress updates to management

Requirements

  • NDip, BTech or BEng in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
  • 3–5 years’ experience in electrical project engineering or industrial automation
  • Proven experience with project scheduling, documentation, and drawing control
  • Experience with panel building, commissioning, and FAT processes (advantageous)
  • Ability to manage and direct technical teams on-site
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environments
