About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our hotel’s culinary operations across multiple kitchens in Pretoria. As a seasoned professional with over 8 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and managing a high-volume kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the front to deliver exceptional food quality across Ala Carte, buffet-style service, and functions and events
- Manage and control multiple kitchen sections simultaneously, ensuring seamless delivery under significant pressure
- Develop and implement menu strategies, including rigorous stock control and food costing
- Oversee kitchen administration, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and quality control
- Mentor and manage a disciplined brigade, promoting a culture of excellence

- Relevant experience in a hotel environment (over 8 years)
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus on quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (required)
