About the Role
Waynes Electrical Ltd, a prominent electrical contractor serving major fuel brands across South Africa, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our Pretoria-based team. We deliver critical electrical services on retail petroleum sites, working on forecourts, retail shops, canopies, perimeter lighting, and associated electrics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of these services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to reactive maintenance calls, planned maintenance tasks, and project installations
- Work on critical equipment on forecourts, retail shops, canopies, perimeter lighting, and associated electrics
- Perform electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs
- Complete job documentation, technical reports, checklists accurately and timeously
- Ensure all work complies with SANS standards, client specifications, and HSSE requirements
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment effectively
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested Construction Electrician) with >5 years supervision and job management experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Previous competency training in safety supervision, risk identification, working at heights, confined space entry, permit to work systems etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license – Code 10/Code EB
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
