About the Role
Waynes Electrical Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our Pretoria-based team, delivering critical electrical services in a dynamic, safety-driven organisation. As part of our retail petroleum industry team, you will work on various sites across South Africa, ensuring all work complies with SANS standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on retail petroleum sites
- Working on critical equipment on forecourts, retail shops, canopies, perimeter lighting and associated electrics
- Responding to reactive maintenance calls, planned maintenance tasks and project installations
- Ensuring all work complies with SANS standards, client specifications and HSSE requirements
- Completing job documentation, technical reports, checklists accurately and timeously
- People management, interactions with site and client representatives, promoting and ensuring safe work practices
- Materials, tools and equipment management
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested Construction Electrician)
- >5 years supervision and job management experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Previous competency training in safety supervision, risk identification, working at heights, confined space entry, permit to work systems etc
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers licence – Code 10/Code EB
