About the Role
A leading infrastructure and engineering firm is seeking a short-term contract resource in the MEP Engineering & BIM domain, with a preference for candidates who have experience in Data Centre projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering tasks in support of project delivery
- Develop, review and coordinate detailed MEP designs, layouts, and schematics
- Lead BIM coordination and modelling efforts, ensuring consistency across disciplines
- Clash detection, resolution, and coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP systems
- Support drafting, documentation, and BIM deliverables (e.g., as-built models, coordination models)
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues
- Contribute in a fast-paced project environment, ensuring deliverables meet quality, schedule, and client requirements
- Where applicable, assist in quality assurance / validation of MEP design against applicable codes, standards, and data centre best practices
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in MEP engineering (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Demonstrated expertise in BIM coordination and modelling (e.g. Revit MEP, Navisworks, etc.)
- Experience with clash detection and multi-discipline coordination workflows
- Strong technical understanding of systems (HVAC, power distribution, lighting, plumbing, fire services, etc.)
