About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Events to join our client’s team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events and providing administrative support to ensure seamless project execution. If you have a strong background in events management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full project management functions for Events Management company
  • General admin and end-to-end project/account Management
  • Strategy & timeline development and management
  • Project planning, implementation & management
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Client & supplier liaison, including meetings
  • Management of system back-end and sign-off processes
  • Compilation and distribution of newsletters

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Minimum 3 years recent Projects Management experience
  • Specifically in Events/Marketing – or similar industry a must
  • Well presentable, efficient and professional
  • Fully bilingual with strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Well organised and pro-active, able to multi-task and focus on deadlines
  • Able to work well within a team, high level of self-management and initiative
  • Strong admin skills and experience
  • Comfortable doing online presentations, leading meetings with clients, and driving all client communications
  • Computer literate MS Office (Including MS PowerPoint formatting, image and logos resizing etc.)
  • Deadline driven with strong attention to detail
