About the Role
As a Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and customer satisfaction in our Pretoria office. You will work closely with travel consultants to enhance customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and develop effective business plans to increase profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and implement client contracts to ensure contractual commitments are met.
- Identify objectives to maintain and grow the business relationship.
- Develop and communicate creative, measurable, and workable plans to achieve goals.
- Provide ongoing customer satisfaction and enhance customer relationships.
- Manage, develop, and motivate consultants, addressing issues and concerns.
- Increase profitability of customer base by identifying sales opportunities.
- Develop business plans for each customer structure, including sales opportunities.
- Conduct internal reporting on customer activity, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Analyze and interpret data to advise customers on travel trends and spending.
- Produce cost savings reports for clients.
- Review customer expenditure information to identify opportunities for supplier agreements.
- Track corporate agreements and ensure effective adherence to policies and procedures.
- Act as a back-up travel consultant where applicable.
- Implement and manage service level agreements.
Requirements
- Five years’ experience in sales & marketing.
- Relevant qualification in Travel (Essential).
- Familiarity with tendering system.
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written).
