About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Foreman with expertise in finishing and structural work for a prominent construction company based in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing high-rise building projects, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise on-site teams to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct setting out and vertical controls for multi-storey concrete structures
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OHS Act and company safety standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors and labour force to achieve project goals
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality finishes
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finishing/structural work
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (additional ethnic languages advantageous)
- Proven experience in multi-storey concrete structures, setting out, and vertical controls for high-rise buildings
- Full knowledge of all wet trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- General knowledge on specialist trades
- Excellent communication skills with subcontractors and labour force
