About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Pretoria, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with producers and agents in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with producers and agents
- Drive sales growth and achieve targets within the allocated region
- Support agents with technical advice and account management
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
- Provide technical product advice to growers and agents
- Implement and monitor field trials and demonstrations
- Train and support agents and farmers on product use and performance
- Collect and report producer, crop and market information
- Maintain budgets, visit reports and sales plans
- Assist with marketing events, field days and industry engagement
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in agricultural sales. Agricultural qualification advantageous. Strong knowledge of crops grown in the Gauteng region. Familiarity with local producers and farming areas advantageous. Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport.
