About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Officer to join our team in Richards Bay, South Africa. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations. With remote living arrangements, this is an excellent opportunity to work from home while still being part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts in a unionized environment
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations
- Provide guidance on CCMA and Bargaining Council procedures
- Utilize Sage 300 for HR management tasks
- Develop and implement IR strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Labour Law Diploma
- At least 5 years of experience in a unionized environment
- CCMA certification
- Experience with the Bargaining Council
- Proficiency in Sage 300
- Experience working in the FMCG industry (desirable)

- Formal education in Human Resources or related field
