About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our team at Chainlink Recruitment. As a key member of our sales and business development department, you will be responsible for aggressively driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and ensuring long-term client relationships. With a strong focus on market research, proposal and contract negotiation, and collaboration with internal teams, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys the challenge of meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and outreach to potential clients
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets, focussing on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence
- Market Research: Analyse industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare business proposals and negotiate contracts with clients to secure favourable terms and conditions
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales teams, including marketing and product development teams, to align strategies and enhance service offerings
Requirements

- Strategy Development experience
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF4 equivalent
- Relevant Bachelors Degree in Business Admin, Marketing and related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales or related field is essential, with a track record of achieving sales targets
