About the Role
We are seeking an Associate (CA(SA)) to join our team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate finance and valuation techniques, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete thorough due diligence investigations for Portfolio Companies
- Prepare discussion papers and transaction proposals
- Liaise effectively with Portfolio Companies
- Provide timely and accurate portfolio company reporting
- Meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of work ethic
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience in corporate finance
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in valuation roles
- Strong understanding and application of various valuation techniques, including:
- Discounted cash flow (DCF)
- Enterprise value (EV) to earnings before taxation, interest, depreciation & amortisation (EBITDA)
- EV to earnings before taxation & interest (EBIT)
- Price to earnings (PE)
- Price to net asset value (P/NAV)
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification in accounting or a related field
