About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance and fault finding on production and packaging equipment, ensuring optimal plant uptime and reduced downtime while maintaining equipment reliability, safety compliance, and food manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical maintenance and fault finding on production and packaging equipment
- Maintain equipment reliability, safety compliance, and food manufacturing standards
- Contribute to optimal plant uptime and reduced downtime
- Perform PLC fault finding, control systems, VSDs, instrumentation, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Work effectively as part of a team under pressure
Requirements
- Recognised Electrical Trade Test
- N3 Electrical Engineering or higher qualification
- 3–5 years’ post-trade experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Strong skills in PLC fault finding, control systems, VSDs, instrumentation, and preventative maintenance
