About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to lead our short-term insurance distribution strategy in Sandton. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving face-to-face, advice-led sales growth and achieving maximum market penetration across a defined region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and control the regional sales growth plan in line with the channel’s and business’s strategic objectives.
- Set and implement the operational strategy in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Monitor and achieve strategic objectives and sales targets, increase sales revenue, and identify new market opportunities.
- Lead the sales function to its optimal size to ensure full coverage of the demarcated region.
- Develop and execute best operating practices, continuously improve sales processes, and ensure effective risk management and governance of the entire sales process.
- Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals and inspire a high-performance culture characterised by collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 57 years’ experience managing managers who manage teams is essential.
- 710 years’ experience in a Sales environment is essential.
- Experience in both personal and commercial lines, as well as across core business processes (new business, underwriting, claims).
Qualifications
- NQF 7 Level: Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma relevant to the industry.
- Leadership or Management studies/qualification is advantageous.
