About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior C# .Net Developer to join our team in Sandton. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality APIs, ensuring seamless integration with various systems and third-party services. With 6+ years of experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework, you have extensive knowledge of back-end development, Azure, and high-availability environments. You are passionate about software development and problem-solving, and enjoy working collaboratively with front-end developers to deliver user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and develop suitable solutions
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs
Ensure seamless integration with various systems and third-party services
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and bugs
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver quality solutions
Participate in design, planning, estimation, stand-up, and retrospective meetings
Demonstrate a passion for design patterns and creating elegant, efficient solutions

Requirements

6+ years of experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework
Extensive experience in back-end development
Experience with Azure and high-availability environments
Exposure to Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Proficiency in C#, TypeScript
Knowledge of .NET Core, NET Framework, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, WPF, Blazor, React, Angular
Familiarity with RESTful Services, SOAP APIs, MSSQL, CosmosDB, and cloud platforms like Azure
Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
Proficiency in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Git, TFS, NUnit, xUnit, Cypress, Moq

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma related qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
