We are seeking two experienced Site Agents to join our team on a prestigious residential and commercial construction project in Sandton. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that the project is completed within budget and on schedule, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Managing and supervising all on-site construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers
– Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and quality standards
– Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing any delays or issues that may arise
– Recording and maintaining accurate project documentation, including daily reports, work schedules, and budget updates
– Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel
– Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and consultants
– Providing regular progress updates to senior management and offering recommendations for improvement as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

– Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Site Agent on residential and commercial construction projects
– Qualified with a relevant degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field
– Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion
– Sound knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of subcontractors and laborers
– Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
– Valid driver’s license and own transport
