About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Spanish-speaking Travel Specialist to join a luxury hospitality group based in Sandton. This role is ideal for an experienced travel professional with a strong background in inbound tour operating and a flair for creating exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative, bespoke FIT leisure itineraries with a strong focus on detail and guest experience
- Manage the full reservations process from initial enquiry through to final confirmation, including invoicing and travel documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to turnaround times in line with company standards
- Proactively sell products and services to create the best possible itineraries for guests
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with agents, guests, colleagues, and suppliers
- Deliver exceptional service levels at all times
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in inbound tour operating
- Strong DMC knowledge of at least two of the following regions: South Africa, Southern Africa, East Africa
- In-depth knowledge of Tourplan or a similar reservations system
- Proficient in WETU
- Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish (preferably South American Spanish) and English
