Job Description
About the Role
A seasoned Senior Boiler & Power Plant Manager is urgently needed to lead steam generation, biomass energy plant and utilities for continuous manufacturing operations in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial (plant) manufacturing or energy-intensive industry, with expertise in steam systems, fuels, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage boiler operations and fuel handling systems
- Supervise power plant staff and uptime performance
- Supporting continuous production
- Develop energy efficiency and maintenance strategies
- Ensure compliance with statutory boiler and power regulations
- Drive safety culture and technical excellence
- Leadership of operations teams
Requirements
- Boiler / power plant certification or industrial utilities qualification
- Proven power plant management / senior manager (8-10 years) experience
- Industrial (Plant) Manufacturing or energy-intensive industry background essential
Qualifications
- Boiler / power plant certification or industrial utilities qualification
Salary & Benefits
R45 000 – R60 000 per month (TCTC)
