About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sommelier to join our team at Skukuza, where they will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service and contributing to the overall culinary experience of our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert wine knowledge and make recommendations to guests
- Manage wine inventory and cellar operations
- Maintain accurate records of wine stock and beverage costs
- Ensure adherence to fine-dining service standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop wine lists and menus
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- WSET Level 2 or 3, Cape Wine Academy, or recognised Sommelier certification (preferred)
- South African Sommelier Association certification (advantageous)
