About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Guide to join our team at Unspecified, where you will be responsible for leading game drives and bush walks in a Big 5 reserve environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct game drives and bush walks for international guests
- Provide expert knowledge of wildlife tracking and animal behavior
- Interact with guests from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Maintain the safety and well-being of guests at all times
- Participate in trail maintenance and backup trails as required
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- FGASA Field Guide qualification (typically NQF Level 2 or NQF Level 4)
- DEAT / NDT / LEDET registration depending on province
- Valid South African drivers license
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- ARH (Advanced Rifle Handling) certification
- Backup Trails or Lead Trails qualification (advantageous)
