About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Secretary to join our team at Helderberg Personnel cc in Somerset West. As a key member of our financial services division, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our financial advisor, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and maintaining accurate records. With a strong focus on client service, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling meetings and general office administration
- Assisting the financial advisor with servicing existing and new clients, including preparation of meeting documentation, application forms, and follow-ups
- Filing, capturing client data, updating spreadsheets and word documents
- Processing new business, pre-populating documentation, checking all proposals and application forms, and submitting them to service providers/insurance companies
- Following up on client transactions, implementing new business, drawing statements from service providers, and summarizing client portfolio information
- Preparation of presentations, investment summaries, and documentation for client review meetings
- Maintaining FAIS and FICA compliance requirements
- Scanning to file all new business documents in client folders
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- 3 years experience at a financial advisory practice is advantageous
- Post Matric qualification will be an advantage
- Strong written and verbal language skills both Afrikaans and English essential
- Strong computer skills essential
- Own vehicle, transport, and driver’s license essential
