About the Role
As a Social Media & Administration Assistant at Merand Corbett & Associates, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence across multiple platforms, coordinating content, and providing administrative support to the team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social media and marketing while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage social media posts across multiple platforms
- Schedule content to play on in-store marketing screens
- Respond to comments, messages, and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with content coordination (briefing designers, sourcing images, uploading content)
- Proofread captions and content to ensure correct grammar, spelling, and tone
- Conduct basic research for campaigns, trends, and competitor activity
- Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and general admin tasks
- Help manage calendars, meetings, and internal workflows
- Track tasks and ensure deadlines are met across projects
Requirements
- Strong command of English (written and verbal) with excellent grammar
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using a PC and common tools (Google Workspace, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative
- Social media experience is advantageous but not essential
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, relevant experience or training in social media marketing or administration would be beneficial.
