About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our luxury health and fitness club as an Assistant Club General Manager, supporting the Club General Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff performance, and member experience across multiple locations in Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily club operations across all sites
- Support, lead, and motivate staff to ensure high performance standards
- Deliver exceptional member experiences through personalised service
- Assist with operational planning, reporting, and administration
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene compliance
- Support implementation of club policies, procedures, and service standards
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Contribute to membership growth, retention, and marketing strategies
Requirements
Previous management experience in luxury health, fitness, or hospitality environments
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities
Ability to work across multiple locations (Eastern Cape & KZN)
Member-focused, professional, and proactive approach
Experience in budgeting, reporting, and operational oversight
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
