About the Role

Our client designs exceptional software and digital experiences for physical spaces. From retail environments and live events to stadiums, visitor attractions, DOOH, and smart infrastructure, they fuse technology, hardware, data, and immersive AV to create environments that engage deeper, operate smarter, and leave a lasting impact. They are growing rapidly and are looking for an A-star Business Analyst to join their Technical / Development team, playing a key role in taking both their products and business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clear development briefs, technical documentation, and user stories
  • Own the QA process: create test plans, execute test cases, and document results
  • Configure web applications and email templates using HTML, CSS, and JSON
  • Work hands-on with devices such as touchscreens, cameras, kiosks, and PCs (Windows, Linux, Android)

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, QA Testing, Product Ownership, Technical Support, or Software Project Management
  • Strong experience testing both hardware and software
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Slack, DevTools, and Figma
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS, with an interest in software development
  • Experience working with operating systems and devices: Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS
  • Experience in Agile or iterative development environments
  • Exposure to IoT, AV, kiosks, or hardware/software integration is highly advantageous

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Salary & Benefits

R600k PA cost-to-company, negotiable based on experience and ability
