Job Description

Camp Manager Eswatini | Luxury Game Lodge | Salary R35,000 R45,000 Negotiable DOE | Live-In Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Camp Manager to oversee all operations at a luxury game lodge in Eswatini. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high operational standards, and lead a professional and motivated team across all departments. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Staff Management Supervise all departments: Food & Beverage, Reception, Guides, Housekeeping, Grounds, and Maintenance Ensure adherence to lodge standards and policies Manage staff contracts, grooming, training, rosters, and leave Approve purchases and oversee stock management and deliveries Capture and report on daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial records Oversee lodge maintenance and operational reports Guest Relations Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and address special requests Monitor service standards during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services Ensure all guest-facing areas are clean, tidy, and fully operational Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and orientation Facilitate communication between guests and relevant departments Handle VIP guests, complaints, and feedback professionally Financial & Human Resources Ensure accurate billing, cash-ups, and banking procedures Manage stock takes, inventory control, and resolve discrepancies Monitor cost of sales, margins, and operational expenses Conduct performance appraisals and manage grievances Facilitate ongoing staff training and weekly team meetings Health; Safety & Compliance Maintain hygiene, fire, and safety standards across all areas Take charge during emergencies and evacuations Ensure security procedures are followed Promote a safe and efficient work environment General Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills Attend management meetings and carry out reasonable duties as assigned Maintain professional appearance and punctuality at all times Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred 23 years related experience in lodge or hospitality management Strong business, customer service, leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Package: Live-in accommodation Competitive; negotiable salary based on experience Opportunity to manage a luxury game lodge and lead a professional team
