About the Role
We are looking for a Credit & Pricing Analyst to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a key member of our commercial engine, you will report directly to the Group Head of Credit and be responsible for developing and maintaining analytical models that shape our credit and pricing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sit at the centre of our commercial engine
- Report to the Group Head of Credit
- Develop and maintain analytical models
- Shape our credit and pricing decisions
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Advanced skills in Python or R for statistical analysis and modelling (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, seaborn)
- Experience building and maintaining:
- Credit scorecards
- Pricing models
- Complex financial / P&L forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 2-5 years in credit risk, pricing, or data science
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools is a plus
Salary & Benefits
R960K PA (cost to company salary), negotiable on experience and ability.
