About the Role
Leipzig Country House & Winery, a well-established events venue, 21-bedroom guest house, and boutique winery, is seeking a vibrant and highly organised Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Live-In position, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of our vineyard while delivering exceptional events experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate conferences, corporate events, weddings, and private functions
- Assist the Accommodation Manager with reservations, guest check-ins, and check-outs
- Liaise with travel agencies, booking engines, and accommodation platforms
- Meet with potential clients, conduct venue viewings, and compile detailed quotations
- Supervise, train, and coordinate service staff during functions
- Oversee on-the-day operations for events and weddings
- Assist the General Manager with daily operational duties
- Manage invoicing and payments
Requirements
- Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word, Canva)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
- Well-presented with excellent communication skills
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to make decisions in uncertain situations
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused
- Passion for service excellence and the hospitality industry
Qualifications
- Hospitality qualification (advantageous)
