Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our operations team in Kuruman. The successful candidate will operate and maintain heavy machinery such as Front-End Loaders (FEL), Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT), and Reach Stackers, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant movement of materials on site.

Key Responsibilities

Operate mining and logistics machinery to load, move, and transport materials (e.g., coal, manganese, containers)
Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and ensure machinery is maintained and operated safely
Ensure correct stacking, weighing, and loading of containers according to operational procedures
Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, or safety incidents immediately
Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and adhere to all SHEQ and OHS standards

Requirements

Valid FEL / ADT / Reach Stacker operating license
1–2 years’ experience as a Machine Operator in mining, logistics, or a similar environment
Strong understanding of safety regulations and equipment operation
