About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to join our client’s growing boutique hospitality group operating two hotels and three restaurants across Cape Town and the West Coast. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service standards across all properties. This multi-property role is ideal for a hands-on professional passionate about setting service standards, training teams, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service standards across all properties.
  • Lead onboarding, ongoing training, and coaching for all hotel and restaurant teams.
  • Conduct quality and service audits, and follow up on improvements.
  • Step in operationally during staff leave, peak periods, or other operational gaps.
  • Work closely with property and restaurant managers to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining consistent, high-quality guest service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel and/or restaurant operations.
  • Strong focus on service standards, SOPs, and staff training.
  • Ability to manage and lead teams, both operationally and strategically.
  • Own reliable car and valid drivers licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to the West Coast and stay overnight when needed.
